For a modestly priced thermal site this works very well. For best viewing it seems to be good to start with a long range view to let the sites electronics get oriented/ auto nuc. I like that it lets me safely acquire targets in low light or poor contrast.

Bought this July 25th through my local gun shop. Got it mounted and bore sighted in minutes. East procedure. I can see things and Identify things out to almost 300 yards with no problems. At this price, it allows anyone to get started in Thermal hunting without breaking the bank. Yes there are better out there, but not in this price range. Anyone on a budget wanting to go Thermal, This is your best option. I’m impressed with the scope and you will be too.

I looked and looked for a good thermal but like many others, I was on a limited budget. I live in Texas and do more night hunts than day. Found this and fell in love with it. Detection at 900 yards is no joke. IDENTIFICATION is in the 150 range for me for similar sized objects (coyote vs dog, pigs vs calfs/cows). However, I’m not shooting ANYTHING at night farther than 75-100 yards. SO this is perfect. For the money this is a very solid unit. I still want a NV handheld for stalking but using this for long-range detection, weapons mounted scope, and tracking I don’t think this can be beat for the money
