The boots were better made then I thought.

I like they have the zipper on the side. Makes it easier to put on and take off.

They have become my new hunting boot for the farm now in Michigan!

Hooks for laces are tough to string but can be a good thing so they don’t come loose when in use

These snake boots work well for me. I am a Consulting Forester and I wear snake protection when I am doing fieldwork. Rocky bots hold up fairly well for me and I wear a pair out in about two years, but I’m probably wearing them more than the normal outdoor enthusiast. **** Here’s an added update 5-04-2021…the side zippers on these boots did not hold up for one years use, the toe guard material is coming off, and the Velcro zipper pull cover snaps tore off….

save money for now and when ready to have secured I’ll be ready to purchase it and keep it.

I love these boots. My feet freeze 24/7 so I needed a boot that was going to keep my feet warm while hunting. I went out in the snow for several hours and my feet stayed warm the entire time. They are definitely worth the price.

I simply ordered a size larger than I usually wear and the boots fit perfect! To put on, I unlace all the way down and insert my foot. Then lace back up to the snugness I desire. Did not unzip when putting boots on—key point! To remove boots, I simply unzip the side and loosen the laces and the boots come off easily. Very comfortable and light weight for the purpose intended which is keep me safe from rattlesnakes and cacti.

I ordered a 9 1/2 regular because thats my normal boot size and they fit great.. great turkey hunting/ early bow season boots. Water proof for the wet fields in the morning and creek crossing. Comfortable and light weight and can hike all day in them.. good ankle support. I love them.

These are my third pair of snake boots and my second pair of Rockys. I found the quality and craftsmanship to be high. My other boots are a 9M and I ordered these in the same size and the fit is as expected. As my other pair of Rocky snake boots were water proof for the first year to year and a half before I had to start treating them I expect these will be the same. I get about 3 years out of a pair before the material in the flex area of the foot starts to wear out. I ordered the boots on Wednesday, they arrived on Friday. I live in western New York and snake boots are my go-to winter boot. I have worn this pair for ice fishing, snow shoeing and for work. I will also be wearing these for hunting and hiking year round. Because they can be laced up tight, when walking through deep snow it prevents snow from getting in my boots. With wool socks on my feet stay comfortably warm. I did have an issue with the boot bighting into right ankle but a little softening of the ankle area of the boot with a 2×4 and hammer seems to have eliminated the issue. (Shoe repairmans trick) I enjoy the fact they have both a zipper and speed lace hooks. It makes putting them on and taking them off very easy which I do 5 or 6 times a day when I wear them to work. You do have to be aware that there is a lot going on in the zipper gusset area so if caution is used when running the zipper up and down you shouldn’t have a problem. I will definitely buy another pair.

The fit was bigger than expected, but I just put an extra pair of socks on and that takes care of.
