preferred I let the pull off to about 20 lbs. The 8 year old has a little trouble drawing at 15 lbs but is getting better at it. The build quality is Good, what you would expect from Bear. They are a little on the heavy side. These bows come with two 26″ arrows you may want to pick up extras. I ordered 28″ fiberglass practice arrows and they work fine. There is no way to weave a sight into the string because it is coated, I wound some thread around the string instead. For a children’s bow this thing has some power. Definitely not a toy that you turn your kid loose with without a little instruction and at least minimal supervision.

Thanks for the insanely fast shipping and caring about your customers. The bow arrived in perfect condition and I have been shooting it everyday weather permits. Fully adjustable bow from 5lbs-70lb easy to adjust, nothing is complex about this bow.

I fine it too be an amazing bow, just right for my 8yr old daughter to use without flaws. Very simple out of the box and start shooting of course some safety classes and guidance first. I bought it hoping it would get my daughter involved in a sport I’m compassionate about and she loves it; and cant wait to go big game hunting with dad. Now she watches the women bow shooters and shes like yup dad “I’LL be that good with practice”

Nice bow. Low cost. Powerful. But a word of warning, my 7 year old could not pull the string without help. Do not try to buy this for young kids. I would say its ideal for 10years +. That said, I’m having alot of fun with it.

Simple setup and great bow, I was shooting arrows in 30 minutes including time for adjusting the draw length and weight. Small adjustments to sight it in and I was good to go. This is my first bow ever and after 20 shots I was hitting these decent groups. Highly recommend
