The original Block Target revolutionized archery targets because the layered design stopped arrows with friction rather than force. This technology is still available today with a higher contrast shooting face in the new line of Block Classic archery targets. These targets feature the original open layered design which easily stops broadheads, field points, and even mechanical broadheads.
Features
- Layered foam
- Easy arrow removal
- Stops broadheads (fixed and mechanical) and field points
- Stops arrows flying at 300 fps+

Easy to transport

Stops the arrows, and they come out fairly easy. It does take a decent powered shot to make it in there very much. My son’s shots sometimes barely stick in there, but he is using a youth bow, and is only 9. When he gets a good shot, it goes in. This is also the cheapest one i could find, and is good quality.

Great value for the money. Bought it because we build bows and wanted an easy to retrieve yard target.

I was using a bear divergent which is rated at 338 ibo. The arrows will pass through a lot going the short way and about 1 to 2 inches going the long way. This was at about 20 feet away using aluminum arrows which are wider than carbon so expect the carbon arrows to pass through more. Its nice and easy to move around. The arrows are much harder to remove than my big shot extreme 500 which is a true 2 finger removal. For this target when there is that much pass through with thicker aluminum arrows there is a lot of friction holding the arrow in. Its a good 5 finger removal with some good tugging. No need for an arrow puller. The portability, light weight, and the fact it can catch arrows from my compound bow are all plus. The removal is a little tough. Over all good value. Would recommend.

it is so light. I hung it, and then, to prevent the target spinning incontrollably, I had to screw two screws at the bottom where I tied some wire loops, and these I can tie to the sides, so that the target stays oriented the same way. Or else you may need to put something behind it. With my 50#+ recurve, plenty of arrows poke at the back, and so if I have another target at the back for support, I make holes in that target as well, which is not ideal. And if there is nothing behind this target, then there has to be a way to anchor it, so it does not spin uncontrollably.
