The Eberlestock F3 FAC Track is derived from the popular Halftrack… Eberlestock took a pack that the Army Times voted as their best pick for a 3-day pack, and that a soldier from the 7th Special Forces Group telephoned from Afghanistan just to tell us how much he liked it… and then they made it better. The F3F has a new zip-around top opening, with optimizes it for PRC-117 type radios, MOLLE/PALS compatible webbing up the sides in place of the F3M’s side pockets, and two front pockets. This is a great all-around 3-day pack, but Eberlestock named it the FAC Track because it is the best-in-class pack for Forward Air Controllers, and they think they’re good guys to have on your team. The F3F is designed to be paired with modular pouches (806191).

Was very happy with this pack, it was comfortable, I was able to get all my stuff I need in it with out any problems. I ware it all day and my back and hips didn’t hurt. One thing bad is the rain cover I bow hunt and a bright orange cover doesn’t work very good for me, it should come with a matching cover for your choice. All said and done I like it.

It holds everything comfortably and you can barely feel it on your back

Overall, it looks and feels pretty sturdy. Taking it on a hunting trip next week (5 day hunt in Wyoming), so I’ll update after. I saw a couple of reviews saying the waist belt loosens easily. The right side was good, but the left slipped loose. Looking at the buckles, the right one lifted the strap high, but the left was low. I realized they installed it from the factory wrong. Pull the belt through, flip it over, and reloop it. Holds good now!

This thing is amazing. I havent used it to it’s full potential yet. I normally carry my 3L camelbak hydration bladder, machette, jacket, calls, bino’s, rangefinder, release, snacks, stand lock, and a few other small items. This thing still has a ton of room left. Haven’t used the bow/rifle carrying system yet as i’m usually packed in with a climber, but i do plan to use it. Couldn’t be happier. Almost pulled the trigger on a high priced badlands pack, but very glad that i didn’t. This one is perfect for me! Down the line, i may purchase a lighter pack for shorter hunts as this one is a little heavy, but for now, this one will be with me EVERY hunt.

This pack is great. It is comfortable and well built, love the built in gun/bow holder and blaze orange pack cover. I use it to carry all of my gear when bow hunting, and I have also used for minimalist backpacking/ snowshoe trips and backcountry fishing trips. It is great to be able to strap my bow on my back on longer hikes to my stands. So far zippers are holding up well and it has tons of room for my day hunts. This pack is not designed to be a big meat hauler in my opinion, but for my purposes it works great. I have carried a 20- 30 lb load comfortably numerous times. Compared this to my buddy’s Badlands pack and it is same quality with less that half the price. He is jealous of my pack now!
