The Eberlestock Warhammer Backpack is built around the U.S. military’s beloved ALICE, a tried and true pack frame. It takes advantage of the ALICE’s compact size, and take-anything-you-can-throw-at-it toughness, and incorporates features and qualities that have made Eberlestock packs famous. Because the frame is fully wrapped in the structure of the pack, more along the lines of an internal frame than an external frame, frame noise has been eliminated which made for an exceptionally comfortable and well ventilated pack.
By itself, the Warhammer is a great stand-alone pack, with ample 3-day-class storage and two pockets sized for 70 oz/ 2-liter hydration bladders (sold separately). It doesn’t need any other components, depending on your personal preference. But you can do some great things by mixing and matching accessories and other bags to expand the system. In effect, you can build any pack you might conceivably need by pairing the WARHAMMER with some of Eberlestock’s other products. To get a super-organized front-loading pack, you can zip a G1 Little Brother into the WARHAMMER’s load bay. Or for simpler bulk storage, choose a J2SD or J3SD Spike Duffel… or a combination of any two of these; you can attach two duffels at the same time, or you can embed the Little Brother pack into the interior of the pack by zipping a duffel outboard of it. Then, you can attach the LP1 FannyTop Go-bag to the WARHAMMER’s top panel. These practical options in a relatively lightweight and extremely efficient system make this a fun, versatile, and highly effective backpack.
This is simply a great all-around hunting pack. Whether carrying elk quarters or your camp, whether compact as a rifle toting daypack or bulked out to haul freight, you will find this to be a very useful and pleasant to use product.

This is a good pack for the price point, Holds all my gear and the straps give you plenty of options to get it fitting just right for maximum comfort. Took a few stars off the review as i would like to have the option to wrap the extra strap that is not needed after getting it tightened down (Extra material just hangs down and can get in the way.) Not a deciding factor for the pack, but it could benefit from additional lashing locations on the pack.

Perfect day pack I’m a saddle hunter and it works great hold everything I need and more if needed of course it’s great and it has a metal rod for back support when holding a slightly heavier load the side gun holster parts are perfect for a Doyle’s gear hoist and back strap for bow/gun is perfect for platform I have a predator xl and it’s great and on the side I Cary my sticks over all it’s perfect great product overall the only flaw I see it the little strap on the chest that come of sometimes I noticed but with a bit of force it’ll go back on 👍👍 hopes this helps you with your buy cause it’s great

Great pack and great customer service from ALPS! After a few uses the buckle on the waistband broke. I emailed them and they sent one to me for free. Had it in about 4 days. Lots of storage space and the shelf feature is great to have open when in stand to have calls ready to go.

This is a fantastic backpack. It is priced well below other manufacturers and it works perfectly. I use it to carry my rifle and other gear in during deer season, which is easily a 3 to 4 mile hike. Rifle stays secure and there is plenty of room inside the pack for all the necessities. I also use it to carry my compound bow and gear when bow hunting. Again, the bow is secure and it leaves my hands free. I have had it for over a year now and it shows no signs of wear.
