The G.Loomis Inshore NRX Spinning rods are the ultimate inshore rods. Most inshore fishing is done on the flats or in shallow bays around docks or mangroves where getting a bait to the fish and then getting that fish to the boat is a real challenge. You need everything on your side. It’s about the tide and the affect it has on the flats, the reeds, the rocks and the mangroves. Basically, it’s about NRX Mag Rod Inshore spinning rods…. a series of fast and extra-fast, magnum power spinning rods featuring the new nano-silica resin system that allows us to use less material without losing strength. Rods that are very light, incredibly – no – insanely sensitive and stronger than any high performance, high modulus rod G.Loomis has ever made. These rods are rated for braid. It’s the ultimate connection for sensitivity, fish-fighting control and taking vegetation and heavy cover out of the equation. Another great feature on these rods is the hybrid guide train. We use titanium-framed, SIC K-frame stripper guides that are designed to keep braided line from tangling on the frames at the stiffest point of the rod. After the first three K-frame guides, G.Loomis added nickle-titanium RECOIL guides to reduce weight and increase the rate of recovery for the tip creating unequaled casting distance! All feature split-grip handle configurations and are backed with a limited-lifetime warranty!

We bought these for our girls (10 and 8) and honestly figured they would be throw away rods after a trip. These turned out to be great little rod/reel combos. We caught large mouth bass and channel cats without much of a worry. They are also a great size for our girls, light enough for the girls to carry, and held up to legitimate fishing.

This is an awesome set for the young princess in your life that likes to fish. Grand daughter got it when she was 10 and besides oohing and aweing it was strong enough to bring in an 18″ lg mouth bass from “Grampy’s” pond. It even comes with a small bait kit with some useful lures and empty places to be filled by loving grandparents… It clips on the rod so it doesn’t get misplaced when it’s not in use. The reel is the 33 model, few steps better than the “202” series. The rod is strong, but flexible. The best part as far as she in concerned, it is all beautiful PINK.
