A little bulky, but surprisingly light for a boot with 1400 grams of thinsulate. Happy so far!

I have no doubt after another few miles they will be perfect.

My Diabetic brother thinks these are a miracle for him! He wouldn’t have ordered such a tall boot but found it kept his legs warmer and that keeps his feet warmer!! I am a former shoe/boot salesperson so since it was insulated I ordered him a size larger and they fit perfectly! He has worn these all winter and still looks like new!

The boots are really light. I have been wearing lacross rubber snake boots for years. They are heavy and clunky. There’s boots are very light and seem to be comfortable. I don’t think they will be water proof but may be water resistant. I have not tried in water just my opinion. The Zipper, as many have stated seems cheap and I can see how it could tear up. I’m not planning on using the Zipper because I can easily unlace and take the boot off. For those with zipper problems I would suggest to just not use it. I don’t even know why they put a zipper on a boot it is not needed. These are my first impressions I have not used the boot in the field.

Im happy, they aren’t near as nice as my old boots but for what i payed for the other ones i could almost buy 3 pair of these. I think they are a great value so far but the real test will be when I’m up in my deer stand in December or a long day fishing out on the ice.

I normally wear size 11.5 but ordered size 12 knowing they have a lot of insulation and was glad I did. The size 12 fits me perfectly. I have a similar pair of Guide Gears (13 inches high) which are waterproof but have no insulation and I’ve been really happy with them in all respects, so I got these for my winter trips into the Appalachians.

He said that it took him a couple weeks to break them in and know he says compared to what the facility provided . The warden approved the purchase for me. They have been in use for couple months and he feels they should last him 2 years
