17 HMR Lever Action Repeater
The 17 HMR Lever Action Repeater features a 20” barrel, comes with a checkered American walnut Monte Carlo stock. Like all lever action Henrys, the action is incredibly smooth from the very first shot. It will enable small game and varmint hunters to take full advantage of the .17HMR with regard to velocity, trajectory, wind drift, richochet resistance, quietness and accuracy.
Additionally, it is considered by many to be the most accurate rimfire cartridge ever produced, the .17HMR incorporates a .17 caliber bullet into a necked-down .22 magnum case. Moreover, this high-powered combination produces a sizzlin’ muzzle velocity of up to 2,550 feet per second and the laser-flat trajectory makes it lethal for long-range shots on woodchucks, prairie dogs, foxes and other small varmints. In addition, Henry’s take on this revolutionary caliber, the Varmint Express, has a 20” barrel that delivers dead-on accuracy.
The fully adjustable rear buckhorn sight provides an optimal sightline for improved ai, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts for the optional addition of a rimfire scope. The buttpad on this Henry rifle is smoothly contoured for more comfortable shouldering. The lever action is designed to provide maximum smoothness and efficiently cycles rounds even when the rifle is shouldered. A great addition to any rimfire arsenal, the Henry Golden Boy 17 HMR Rifle offers dependable shooting in a traditional long-lasting design.
Just like all Henry rifles, it’s handcrafted in the United States using only high-grade components such as a checkered American walnut stock, and Williams Fire sights and, of course, it’s outfitted with that legendary, smooth-operating lever action that sets a Henry rifle apart from all the imitators.

Fun little gun for shooting in the basement

Used this for teaching my daughter about gun safety and shooting before stepping up to the 22 rifle. A well built little gun except for the plastic cocking handle which feels as if will break at some point. The fun kit came with different targets that were all to have fun while learnig to shoot. The accuracy of the rifle was pretty good but the sights were off and couldn\’t change the point of aim except with Kentucky windage.

Reminds me of the one I had 50 years ago. My wife bought me this for Christmas after we watched -the Christmas Story-movie Ralphies gun. It does have nice bluing and the wood stock is exceptionally nice. Works great can hit a pop can at 13 Yards easily. Got average of 300 Fps. out of it. Makes a fun plinker and conversation piece. Great first youth gun.
