Hornady designed and tailored the American Whitetail line of ammunition just for the Whitetail Deer hunter. This ammunition line is loaded with the legendary Interlock bullet at conventional velocities in the most popular bullet weights for taking down the buck of a lifetime. Hornady has combined a generation of ballistic know-how and combined that knowledge with modern components and manufacturing excellence to create a line of ammunition that will deliver the consistent accuracy and performance that they have built their reputation upon.
The Hornady InterLock bullet is designed to be a devastating hunting bullet and nothing less. The InterLock Ring, a Hornady exclusive, ensures that the hard-alloyed lead core and tapered jacket remain locked together during expansion. The resulting bullet retains more mass, energy and momentum after impact and transfers that energy into the target. It is this reliable stopping power that has earned the InterLock a worldwide reputation as a bullet for the serious hunter. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

I will buy again. Consistent and on target
My TC Compass and Mossberg Patriot liked this ammo the best out of the 3 other factory loads I tried

Great performance
This ammunition was given to me to try out of a rifle I had won. I was also given some hand loads to try. These grouped fantastic off the bench. Did not get to try them on game, but I have no doubt they will hit where I aim, and I know where to aim.

I use Hornady ammo in all of my firearms
The white tail ammo is great for medium game, I used it in my 243’s and 270’s and I’ve never had a deer run more than 50 yards. It is also a very clean burning cartridge. You won’t be disappointed with the quality or the price.

I would buy this ammunition again
I bought this ammunition for my 7mm-08. After testing several different brands, this is the one that had the best group at 100 yards. It is less than a half inch at 100 yards out of my Howa. It is consistent in my rifle. I have used it for several years.

Great ammo!
I only have one rifle so everything I purse with my 7mm-08 in Alabama woods I’m using this bullet. I’ve shot deer, coyotes, 1 hog, and 1 fox with it and it has never let me down. The complaint I have is I wish they made with a boat tail spite point instead of just a spire point, to give customers a option. For the money and in general I can honestly say this is the best bullet on the market today.

Look no further
These were the most accurate in my BAR Mk-3 and I tried 5 factory loads in this 139-140 grain range. The 140 Core Lokts were nearly as accurate, but these Hornady’s were 70 fps faster on my chronograph. I took a 4 point buck this fall with these Hornady’s. I hit him slightly low and back in the chest area and he piled up in 20 yards, nice exit wound.

I have shot two deer and a bear with this ammo in 7mm 08 very impressed. Under 1 inch groups and great performance on game. The bear and one deer had a complete pass threw. One deer was quarter to me and passed threw most of the deer found a perfect mushroom on the far side. Great knockdown power very little meat damage. Have not had a animal go further then 20 yards with these bullets.
