Really compact and practical but the small size and light weight means more of a kick then what I expect from a normal 9mm. The wife had no issues though with this recoil. I would like one but waiting to see if the SAS comes out in the XL version.

I bought this gun for the Laser sight grips. My elderly eyes no longer can make out the sights with the clarity I would prefer, so a laser or optic sight seemed to be the way to go. However, the stock three dot sights are very useable, at least in daylight. The laser came set to co-witness with the iron sights at 7 yards The gun is very compact and light, with a 7 or 8 round capacity and is quite accurate for its size. There are several caveats to be aware of. The slide retraction effort is pretty heavy–my wife can not operate the slide. Buy a magazine loader–your fingers will thank you. If you have very large hands, this gun may be too small for you. Especially with the 6 round mag, you will only have a two finger grip. For me, I wear a large size glove and the longer 7 round mag is perfect.

My very first 1911! Worth every penny!! Up to this point, best trigger I have ever pulled. I’m shocked at the lack of recoil for a .45 pistol. Many, many shooters can handle this pistol.

The springs are so stiff, it is unusable for the first (attempted) 500 shots. Failure to fire 50% of attempts, the firing pin doesn’t even dimple the primer.

Really nice products! All items I have ordered have been delivered quickly. Love my new Ridgeline Ti left handed, with baffle muzzle brake ordered afterwards and the tactical bolt knob.
