Pack ok. Not designed for long torsos as does not sit on hips and sits awkwardly if adjust for hips . If off hips strains shoulders.

This pack seems to do well, but keep in mind it is an entry level pack. I used it on the tail end of my October deer hunt and it seemed to hold up okay. It didn’t fit my Ruger american 30-06 very well as far as holding it to my back. The butt pocket sat way too low to allow my scope to be comfortably retained by the straps. Also my rifle flopped around quite a bit from the hike out of the mountains. The other thing is that the waist belt pocket was in the way of my rifle while i was shoulder carrying it.

Out of the box, this pack exceeds my hopes. I paid as much for a Rocky brand pack many years ago that was well organized but was not a backpacker’s pack. It worked well for just going to and from the tree. This pack will do so much more than that. I foresee using it to canoe portage with paddles and rod case all easily attached. The lumbar belt appears to be a true load carrier, and the reinforced metal back promised a comfortable ride. I am 5’6″ so I can’t predict the comfort fall taller people, and I haven’t tested it yet for durability. First impression is wow. I could have spent triple the amount and I wouldn’t have gotten more features and thoughtful details.

Overall extremely happy with this bag. Costs a lot less than other day packs that I have seen out there and has many features of those expensive packs plus more!

I bought this a few years ago and have used it for all manner of hunting. Take it archery hunting every year and this past year I took it out to Wyoming on an elk hunt. Fantastic pack for the price.

For the money this pack does it all. Climbing sticks attach prefect with the straps on the front. Plenty of room for everything and the shelf tops it all off for ease of high use items. I have used this pack to kill several great virginia bucks from the saddle. I am on my 3rd season and I don’t belive there is another pack I would use.
