This is my second one. I have one on my G-35 and it is great. I have not change the battery yet and I’ve had it on and used daily for over a year! This new one is going on a G-19 MOS that I recently won at a Glock match!

I have 3 Trijicon optics on my handguns. They are tough as heck and I’ve never had any issues whatsoever. I live in Alaska and shoot down to 5 below zero in Winter and 80 in the summer. I think I’m going to order my 4th as a canted dot on my AR with a magnified optic on it. I wouldn’t consider buying anything else. If a product treats you well, why bother with another? I do prefer my 3 MOA to my 6 MOA dot, which was my first. But my 6 handles business just the same. If you are considering a cheaper optic, I would say, just save up a bit more and get the best.

As always Trijicon does not disappoint. I have many Trijicon products however this is my first adjustable RMR. Coming off of my no battery auto adjust and my type 1, I was skeptical about the type 2 adjustments. I have to say that after the second day of having it I really appreciate the befits. I start my shift at 5pm and end at 5am so obviously going from sunny south Florida to pitch black as my area of operation doesn’t have much for street lights. Although my 2 other Trijicon RMR’s served me well over the years without fail, this is the evolution.

This is one of my favorite things that I’ve purchased. I bought this to mount on top of my 4×32 Acog for closer ranged shots. I know there are cheaper red dots out there but I’ve never had anything bad to say about trijicon other than their price and because of that I trust them to make an A+ product. Zeroing it was very easy and the adjustable LED feature is very useful when you want the dot just a little bit brighter. I highly recommend this whether it be for a pistol or a rifle.

I purchased two of the Type II RMRs. One has bee great, although they do not come with the appropriate mounting hardware so you will need to research what you need. The other RMR has very stiff buttons to control it’s brightness settings making it very difficult to turn off. I returned it since it was my wife’s sight and she could not effectively operate it. Optics Planet promptly sent a replacement. This one too is very difficult to operate. I wonder if someone just sent the same sight back to me.

I bought a Springfield TRP 1911 10 mm that had a trijicon rmr already mounted on the slide. It is not clear at all. like looking through a glase of water. it actually magnifies the image a little but very blurry. was told to send it back and they can fix in 4 to 6 weeks. For over 500 dollars you would think quality control would pick up something like that. i have other red dots and they have all been very good. thought i would pay double for the best, which turns out to be the worst.

Awesome red dot. This one has fully adjustable brightness levels, you can turn it off when not in use so you don’t waste batteries, and it is Night Vision Compatible which is important for training. If that’s your thing. Haha. If not it is still hands down the best red dot on the market. I would suggest getting the base plate with it to make sure it is watertight when mounted.

Make sure you get a seal plate for this. You can get them on amazon. Installation was pretty easy, shooting it requires a little practice. Like everyone sais, theres a learning curve. Its not like the first time you shot a rifle with a reflex sight. It takes a some practice with your presentation to get the red dot in the window.

Received the RMR Trijicon red dot site as advertised. Fit and function is great. Would have been nice when ordering the red dot to have the website inform me I needed a RM63 sealing plate if I wanted my 500 dollar site waterproofed to 66 feet, to keep water from shorting it out. Discovered reading manual which came with the site. Sadly had to order one separately and waiting again for parts to complete.
