Just received my rmr today. Seems to work fine. However I paid full price for and the optics has clear signs of being mounted on a pistol with marks on the front and back of the base and a ring on mounting holes

While I still believe rmrs yo be durable as I’ve used them for years with no issues, my type 2 came with a scratched lense. It can only be seen in certain lighting conditions but when it rears it’s ugly head it is very distracting. I’m going ask optics planet to exchange it. Hopefully they take care or if.

Received the RMR Trijicon red dot site as advertised. Fit and function is great. Would have been nice when ordering the red dot to have the website inform me I needed a RM63 sealing plate if I wanted my 500 dollar site waterproofed to 66 feet, to keep water from shorting it out. Discovered reading manual which came with the site. Sadly had to order one separately and waiting again for parts to complete.

The RMR is the best thing I have ever put on my pistol. If you do not like the RMR you are just wrong. It fixes multiple issues. No more multiple focal planes. No more aligning sights. No more dealing with night sights.

This is my third RMR 3.25 adjustable red dot I have to type 1 and the one I purchased now was type 2 these are the only red dots I would put on my Glock’s optic planet was the best price bar none I strongly recommend these red dots especially for people over 40 years old once you use them you’ll never go back to regular sites again

Yes this product is expensive. But when it comes to something you are using everyday and you rely on it to work everytime you want the best. I’d say it is well worth the money. So pull the trigger (literally). Just make sure you get the sealing plate that is offered by Trijicon.

I own several of these(1moa,3.25moa,6.5moa as well as a 5MOA SRO) along with many Holosun, Sig, vortex RDS, my tires near blind eyes really can’t shoot with iron sights so literally every pistol I own has an RDS mounted. The RMR is really the gold standard for MRDS/RDS(pistol mounted).
