An impressive spotter!
I finally made the jump from my $100 spotting scope purchased from Midway years ago. I can’t believe the difference in quality here. This is an absolutely premier spotting scope for anything but superlight mountain hunting (and Vortex has other models for that). Honestly most of my glassing will be from the truck or stationary locations so I wanted big glass to bring them in close. Vortex delivered. Check out my photo of the moon, taken by simply holding my iPhone up to the spotter while it was on the tripod. Very pleased with this purchase.

Best scope I’ve ever owned, but should’ve bought the angled
Bought this scope knowing it would be good and it surpassed my expectations. Compared to Swarovski & Night Force and neither could top it. Extremely clear, but you need a good, steady tripod because at highest magnification there is a lot of motion with the slightest breeze, otherwise. My only complaint is not really a complaint to Vortex, but a regret that I bought the straight tube and not the angled. Very clear at every distance. A bit pricey, but considering the competition’s prices and Vortex’s unlimited lifetime warranty, a great pick
