The Remington, .243 Winchester (6.2 × 52mm) is a popular sporting rifle cartridge.
243 was designed as a vermin round. Shooters recognized the potential of the round and began using it on medium to large game animals such as turkey, white-tailed deer, mule deer and pronghorn. The .243 has even worked well in wild pigs, black bears, and caribou. Buy Winchester Deer Season XP, .270 Winchester online.
Short and compact, the 243 Winchester case propels 55-grain to 105-grain bullets fast enough to effectively fire 400 yards on everything from rodents to the big game.

Sub 1 inch groups out of my ruger compact rifle with a 16.5″ barrrel at 100 yards. Hoping to take a bear with it this spring!

Sub MOA groups from a picky Savage 11 VT w24″ heavy barrel @100m. Shooting sub/1 MOA groups from 200m. Hitting steel at 600m using Nikon BDC app. and factory load specs. Happy, happy, happy.

I went to 180 from 150, my Savage 110 308 shoots like a guided missile, 118 yds and 3 rds where under an inch. I used a rest to zero scope in, at least I know now, if I miss , Its me. My Savage has a 1-10 twist and it seems to work best with the 180 grain

This is the only factory ammo I have tried that shoots with hand-loaded accuracy out of my 18in. Ruger GSR (the stainless model). When making my bi-weekly ammo grabs, this is the only factory box I pick up for 308. I have only used a few boxes, but that’s because I hand-load 175gr SMK’s with the left-over brass. I\’m not sure how many times they’ll be reloadable, but I can say they’ve been reloaded at least 8 times. So in short, they’re consistent rounds with top-quality brass.

I shot a 200lb hog with one shot at over 100 yards. The bucket performed beyond my expectations. I use it in 308, 6.5 and 243. It\’s great

I bought a 150 round pack at cabelas for $90. That’s about .60 a round. Not sure why Midway is so much more expensive.

Shot 1,000 rounds of the Winchester 36 grain 1280 fps .22 LR in 3 sessions over the last month out of a Remington 597 heavy barrel with heavy laminated stock. About half with a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire II 3-9x scope and half with a Bushnell 1x red dot, both zeroed at 50 yards. 1.5″ groups with the Nikon; 2.5″ with the Bushnell; both from an outdoor bench with barrel support. I am 71 years old and not as steady as I used to be. I am sure the rifle and ammo can shoot better than I can. Total of 6 FTF; all were good strikes on bad primers. Total of 3 FTE; one near the end of each session – probably from a dirty bolt. Did not clean the rifle except at the end of each session.

Clean, accurate, with no failures to fire. No problems with feeding, fed very well. The downside is the cost per round, is getting quite expensive.
Paul (verified owner) –
Fed very well with no issues. Accurate, and American made. Downside is boxes of 150 appear to be filled by weight with the scale set a bit light. All my boxes arrived taped shut and contained only 146 rounds vs. the advertised 150. The cost per round is bad enough without short selling customers.

This is great ammo for a 22LR firearm take is suitable for supersonic Velocity ammo. Now my Ruger target from Ruger was not designed to shoot this velocity ammo. I have in stall all key parts required for supersonic velocity ammo and fires, feeds without jams. It\’s not ammo when these things happen most often the gun was not designed to handle and would need converted.

Since reloading supplies are few and far between I decided to buy a 22LR and got a Savage MKII and put a Vortex Viper 6.5-20 I had lying around. I got this ammo and my rifle loves it. No misfires and I got excellent groups at 100 yards. I compared it to some CCi Stingers I had and the Winchester shot as well if not a little better. In a few days I\’ll see how it does at 200 yards. I only wish Midway would have sold me 3 boxes instead of limiting me to 1 so I can shoot more but rules are rules.
