The EXPS3 is among the most compact units available requiring minimal rail mounting space. When combined with the G33 magnifier the entire HHS I units measure a mere 8.1″ and requires only 2.75″ of rail space for mounting. When faced with variable situations the HHS I is the ideal choice with the ability to quickly switch from 1x to 3x with the flip of a finger. The G33 is held in place with a strong detent that maintains its perfect alignment with the EXPS3, and hold the unit out of the operator’s way in CQB situations. Perfect for any situation, the HHS I offers 20 illumination intensities, anti-glare coatings with high light gathering capability, true holographic transmission for a parallax free optic that features a true heads-up display for shooting with both eyes open. I have always loved EOTech. Chose this one for the great price and didn’t need the NV option. Looks great mounted and works flawlessly. Two different ways to mount. Like the two dot reticle for shooting longer distances.

It’s possible my expectations were unrealistic or that I was looking for a different type of optic and thinkin this was it but I sent it back after looking it over and mounting it. Admittedly I didn’t shoot using it. However, it was big and heavy. It was a very blurry or segmented ring/circle and the two dots were so close together and not clear that I couldn’t really foresee them being significantly distinguishable in use. Again, may be unrealistic expectations but this was just too blurry of a reticle for me. And just to put it in perspective, I have my eyes checked annually for my first class physical and I wear corrective lenses that take me to 20/15

Very happy with this Eotech sight. Less bulky, simple operation, exudes quality. I’ve held Eotech sights in stores and haven’t liked the blurry reticle with my astigmatism. I purchased one on my local gun shops recommendation and assurances. It’s a whole different sight mounted on my AR. Still blurry without corrective lenses but manageable for intended purpose. Don’t know that anything would be better without correction. Highly recommend it if you can fit it in your budget! Love the smaller size!

I went with the XPS2-1 variant because I wanted a single crisp 1 moa dot without the fuzzy ring that surrounds it. Just a personal preference since I find this easier to make a quicker, precise shot. I mounted it on a Taipan Veteran bullpup pcp airgun in .25 caliber which I will use for squirrel hunting. The sight is finished beautifully and has crystal clear glass. A great optic at a great price and prompt shipping with great customer service!

Have had multiple EOTech optics, all have worked great through years and been put through all sorts of abuse. I always use the single dot as I like having less traffic in my optic. Nothing like a water proof simple to use holo that won’t fail you in the field.
