This by every meas is a beginner bow to see if your child is interested in archery without breaking the bank. If your seeking a bow for them to grow with this is not it.

preferred I let the pull off to about 20 lbs. The 8 year old has a little trouble drawing at 15 lbs but is getting better at it. The build quality is Good, what you would expect from Bear. They are a little on the heavy side. These bows come with two 26″ arrows you may want to pick up extras. I ordered 28″ fiberglass practice arrows and they work fine. There is no way to weave a sight into the string because it is coated, I wound some thread around the string instead. For a children’s bow this thing has some power. Definitely not a toy that you turn your kid loose with without a little instruction and at least minimal supervision.

I don’t know anything about archery but my 14 year old niece is on a team at school. So this was her Christmas gift. I was really worried that it would be poor quality but it doesn’t seem to be. She absolutely loved it. She did say that it is different than the ones they use at her school (which doesn’t surprise me) and so the men in the family proceeded to have to show her what the various parts are for. I’d buy another one. And I’d recommend this to any who’s child is into archery.

This is a great bow, shots like a champ! Make sure to have a lot of hay bails behind your target lol. My fence looks as if I put bullet holes in it. Wife was a little P.O’D lol. When I say it hits hard, it its hard. Goes straight through. It’s a great product.

I have had my gen x bow for almost a year and I absolutely love it. I had a peep sight and an octane 5 pin sight installed and after some sighting in, it is the most accurate and consistent bow I have ever had. Being left handed makes it difficult to handle

I own a few high-end compound bows and I purchased this to have around for friends or family that wanted to shoot a bow without letting them use my hunting or target bows. Very impressed with the quality of this RTS bow. After about only 10 minutes of set up i was grouping shots out to 60 yards no problem.

Great bow as far as I can tell. Shoots consistently accurate as far as I can tell. Poor shots are always me rushing or not maintaining form.. No issues with purchase/delivery.
