The Trijicon Miniature Rifle Optic (MRO) is a reflex-style, sealed sight intended for use on rifles, carbines, and shotguns to provide fast target acquisition. It is designed to be used with both eyes open, providing the operator with maximum situational awareness. The large aperture and tapered light path maximizes the viewing area in such a small optic, allowing for fast target engagement – especially from non-standard shooting positions. Advanced lens coatings and electronics produce a crisp red dot.
The brightness control dial on the MRO is specifically designed for ambidextrous usage. With a mid-adjustment “off” position and eight discernible brightness settings, this brightness dial allows for quick and ergonomic adjustments. The MRO features fully protected adjusters that maintain zero even during rough handling, and can be adjusted without the need for special tools. Hard-anodized, forged 7075-T6 housing is fully sealed and waterproof, providing durability in demanding conditions.

I installed this on my Sig M17 with a plate for it. The clarity if the red dot is outstanding very crisp. I like the look and the durability and its able to handle the recoil. Zero it at 25yrs and groupings are about 3 inch at 25yrs bech rest. Well worth every dollar.

I was looking for a small optic to install on a pistol. After reading many reviews, I decided to go with the RMR. It mounted easily and was quick to sight in. It is built like a tank and should last a very long time. I was a little hesitant about the blue tint on of the glass, but I don’t notice it at all while shooting. Some have complained about have to remove the sight to replace the batteries, but I don’t see it being that big of a deal having to reconfirmed zero every few years.

What else can you say except this sets the standard for pistol red dots? So far it’s been great and sits atop my EDC Glock. Holds zero after 1k rounds(just put it on this month), has survived a 6 foot fall to concrete right onto the RMR without a scratch, and just looks great. If you’re putting this on a Glock MOS just remember to get the MOS kit as well so you have the plate and the right screws.

I have 3 Trijicon optics on my handguns. They are tough as heck and I’ve never had any issues whatsoever. I live in Alaska and shoot down to 5 below zero in Winter and 80 in the summer. I think I’m going to order my 4th as a canted dot on my AR with a magnified optic on it. I wouldn’t consider buying anything else. If a product treats you well, why bother with another? I do prefer my 3 MOA to my 6 MOA dot, which was my first. But my 6 handles business just the same. If you are considering a cheaper optic, I would say, just save up a bit more and get the best.

Optic shipped quickly, was exactly what was expected, mounted easily and functions flawlessly. This item was mounted on an edc pistol and has been to the range and carried daily for about 2 months now, no flickering, no battery consumption problems – which shouldn’t be an issue for more than a year of constant on, it has gotten sweaty and wet with water and has experience no problems.

I bought a Springfield TRP 1911 10 mm that had a trijicon rmr already mounted on the slide. It is not clear at all. like looking through a glase of water. it actually magnifies the image a little but very blurry. was told to send it back and they can fix in 4 to 6 weeks. For over 500 dollars you would think quality control would pick up something like that. i have other red dots and they have all been very good. thought i would pay double for the best, which turns out to be the worst.

This is my 5th RMR sight. I have two of the dual powdered and 1 type 2 auto adjusting and now two of the type 2 manual adjusting. This additional sight is great and on par with Trijicon products. I also have a Sig Pro, Leupold DPP and Holosun 507k. The Trijicon is far superior to the others with the DPP coming I a close second. Only wish the Trijicon had better access to the battery.

no shake awake or emitter protection. Should be standard for this level and price of optic. I’ve listed what’s wrong but the sight is nice, rugged, and if you get a good one easy to adjust the brightness if transitioning into different lighting.

Didn’t come with correct screw for mounting on Glock, didn’t come with the waterproofing plate. Other than that I got what I wanted, trijicon should add these parts for as much as you pay. It would be nice to be informed by somebody or have the option to purchase it all together.
