The Trijicon SNIPE-IR is designed to become one with your optical day sight, both on the battlefield and on the hunting field. It comes with a 640×480 12 micron VOx sensor and OLED digital micro display that gives you clear, brilliant imagery at a fast 60 Hz frame-rate system— even through pitch-black darkness. And its advanced VisRelay collimating optic eliminates parallax. The Trijicon SNIPE-IR is optimized for use with a 4x day optic.
Advanced technology should not be complicated to use. Especially in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere. The NO-SHOT ZERO feature makes it simple to verify boresight when attached, while its user-friendly thumbstick lets you change menus and perform NUCs with ease— even in complete darkness.
The SNIPE-IR comes with an easy-to-control polarity mode that lets you switch between three levels of white hot and three levels of black hot. Why limit yourself to one setting? With low, medium and high levels, you can pick your perfect mode.

First, the thing is deadly when used correctly. I recommend turning off auto NUC and ensuring adjustments are made to objective lens for close range or average range changes. Otherwise, one shot zero can be done in about three shots, battery can last for about 4 weeks of on and off use, or about 12 hours nonstop, and minimal bells and whistles for a competitive price are all pros. Cons are the customer service is very slow. On two occasions the LT has failed to operate or gone distorted, white noise, or flat out image inoperative, and both times took over a month for customer response. However, second failure EVENTUALLY resulted in ATN providing free FEDEX and a two week turn around for repair to full operation (the they did leave a grease splotch on interior diopter lens (drives me crazy)). In all, I’ve slain about 50 varmints with this on my .22 magnum air rifle. When it works, it’s phenomenal. When it fails, it’s an expensive paperweight w a lot of frustration in delayed customer service. However, can’t beat the price for the capability. And once you break the ice w a personal thermal weapon used optic, it’s impossible to go back. Thanks ATN for the product. I’m still a fan, as the results don’t lie. Cheers

I read a lot of reviews, both positive and negative, before I purchased it. In my opinion it was a great deal. Тo problem to identify night predators at short range and shoot them with confidence. Never thought that thermal vision would go that far. I’m only sorry I think about purchase it for so long and missed many good offers, but still grab a good one!

Not sure you can beat this scope for the price. The 1.6x is great for scanning and the PIP works great. Clarity is better than I expected with the fixed focus. Plenty of options to set up for various scenarios in black and white hots. I have not been disappointed. The only negative is it doesn’t record video.
